A ver si me muero / Victor Valiente

It is strange how capable we are of accepting that someone might want to die and how we may even find it funny. People sometimes make amusing comments about their own suffering and nonchalantly share them online. Mental health is scarcely talked about, which is understandable because it is a subject that is hard to broach, but that does not mean we should ignore it.
A ver si me Muero (Let’s see if I die) is an awareness campaign intended to breach this taboo. It uses new communication channels and the visual, comic, and satirical language of Generation Z to tackle mental health and suicide through graphic design and motion design. The campaign is very much focused on digital media in which information is both consumed quickly and concisely. It is a moving campaign about young people and suicide.
